R Programming for Policy Analysis – 2021 Course Resources

Note: Registrations for ‘An Introduction to R Programming for Policy Analysis’ are now open at PolicyAnalysisLab.com.

A long-time ago, in the midst of a global pandemic, I launched the first online version of my ‘R Programming for Policy Analysis’ course with a motley crew of consultants, policy analysts and researchers.

Despite being cobbled together using a combination of teleconferencing and duct-tape, the course was rated highly by participants. So much so, that I still receive requests from people interested in accessing session recordings and course resources. And while having people reaching out to me directly has its advantages – such as letting me know whether the course is still relevant and providing me an opportunity to personally apologize for the quality of the recordings – my responses to requests have sometimes been slow.

Which is why I’ve spent some time making the course materials from the 2021 directly available on the website. As while I love to hear from people interested in the course, my slow replies have often meant I need to apologize twice: firstly for the recordings and secondly for the slowness of my reply.

The material is now available via the link below:

Re-opening Expressions of Interest For Future Versions of the Course:

As I received close to 400 people expressing interest in the first version of the course in 2021 (and still receive requests for the recordings) I’ve also opened up EOIs for those interested in participating in future versions of the course.

Although the interactive nature of the 2021 version made it a lot of fun, I expect the next iteration will be delivered using a set of shorter pre-recorded videos. As this will make the content easier to digest and allow a large number of people to participate. For those interested in participating in the next run, please use the form below:
